Saint Anthony of Padua, often pictured holding a lily due to the stories associated with Him and lilies and to Pope Leo X!!!'s permission to bless lilies in honor of the saint, rose much like a lily to arrive to his self-discovery and inspiring purpose. It was after a meal at a gathering of Dominicans and Franciscans that the provincial requested that someone provide a proper sermon. With no one standing up to the request, Saint Anthony was volunteered to the task and after beginning a simple talk it became evident that a fire had been sparked in his heart and words with unmistakeable knowledge and spirit that lit up everyone in attendance like a bright candle whose light spreads far and wide and so blossomed Saint Anthony forever rememb...
