Description
Always pictured either holding a book, a lily or The Baby JESUS, Saint Anthony of Padua was the perfect picture of FAITH. In the Wild Iris pictured here, the three-petaled bloom at the heart of its miracle, which is what each flower is, arriving at its spectacular presentation after most magically breaking through a hard seed, moving its way up out of the ground and toward the HEAVENS through the gifts of water and sun) it is easy to see the highest placement of the three petals that would represent the continual focus of Saint Anthony's soul: a most HOLY TRINITY! Here we would also be able to see the three meanings: of a book, WHICH emerges from WISDOM of the flower we call a lily which presents itself in so many versions always and only to bring forth its symbolism of PEACE, PASSION AND FERVENT FAITH and all only and infinitely to HONOR AND TO WORSHIP JESUS.
